7th International Workshop on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets and Generalized Nets
17 October 2008 — Warsaw, Poland

IWIFSGN'2008 is the seventh international workshop on intuitionistic fuzzy sets and generalized nets to be held on annual basis in Warsaw, Poland.

Similarly to its predecessors it will mainly focus on new developments in foundations and applications of intuitionistic fuzzy sets and generalized nets. However, other topics related to broadly perceived representation and processing of uncertain and imprecise information and knowledge, and intelligent systems will be discussed, too.

The Workshop will be held on 17 October 2008, starting at ca. 10:30 and finishing at ca. 18:00. It will be kindly hosted by the Systems Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences

The place is easily accessible by car and by bus from the center of Warsaw including the central railway and bus stations.

Participation

Researchers, who are interested to participate in the Workshop, are invited to confirm their (and their collaborators') intention as soon as possible. Emails with confirmation, a tentative title of paper(s), email, arrival and departure times, etc. should be sent to:

Authors should send the title(s) and short abstract(s) of their talks (up to a half page) by 26 September 2008. The full text of the contributions should be submitted by 30 October 2008. The preparation instructions will be published here soon. Then, after a review process, authors of papers selected for a possible inclusion in a journal will be contacted.

Registration fee. Accommodation

There is a nominal registration fee of 75 EUR which will cover:

  • attendance of the sessions,
  • lunch, coffee, tea and soft drinks during the breaks
  • proceedings of the accepted papers (after a peer review process).

The fee is to be paid in cash during the worksop, and invoices will be issued.
